Every school, college and university I used to have a team of male cheerleaders to encourage their players and the public to support their favorite teams. Later, the girls became interested in the cheerleaders and started encouraging crowd by their singing, singing, dancing and other activities. Women these days are predominant as cheerleaders in most all sports. It is not only National Football League (NFL) or the National Baseball League (NBL) where cheerleaders used to perform at every achievement by a team or individual players, now one can see encouraging activity of cheerleading and dance in nearly all sports, like cricket too.
